R&D MANAGER

Consulting and engineering in the industrialisation of automated and intelligent solutions for circularity in the textile, leather and fashion industries.

BACKGROUND

CETIA is a technological platform for automated and intelligent solutions for circular fashion, created in 2021 by the ESTIA engineering school and CETI.

At CETIA, we develop solutions to transform textile and leather articles into a source of material for recycling. Using automation, robotics and artificial intelligence, we build efficient systems to make recycling operations competitive. We help fashion brands, collectors/sorters and recyclers to integrate and deploy industrial solutions.

We work mainly on the recyclability of clothing, shoes and leather goods, but also explore other dismantling issues such as sports goods and sunglasses.

The activities of the platform are :

  1. Technology transfer in order to help design and manufacturing companies evolve in the control of clothing, household linen and footwear recovery processes.
  2. Research and Development, in partnership with industrialists of the textile sector: textile, leather, fashion, luxury, sport and textile users: transport, home.
  3. Tests and pre-series for prototyping new textile articles from circularity.

Our first equipment includes automated sorting machines for textile articles, fraying solutions for complex garments, and special machines for the separation of shoe soles.

Our team works mainly on the subjects of product data identification, product dismantling into separate materials, detection and sorting by composition and colour, as well as on steps to prepare the materials for recycling.

To strengthen its team, CETIA is recruiting a TECHNICAL MANAGER.
